Researching cinematic effects for our music video

Today Izzy and I have decided that we want to focus on altering the colour on our music video. When conducting research before we started filming for our music video, we both noticed that the videos we thought were most effective and suited the 'indie' genre the best were the ones that had a cinematic effect on them. We didn't to alter the colours significantly, but we did want to add a subtle change in colour.

We decided to go on to YouTube to get some tips on the easiest and most effective way to add the two black bars to create a cinematic effect, as well as adding colour to our clips. The video below was very useful because we were able to follow it step by step to find how to edit each part on Adobe Premiere Pro.
