Audience Feedback- Fourth Draft Edit (Music Video)

Audience Feedback- Fourth Draft Edit

After completing a fourth draft edit we feel as though our video is really coming on nicely. We know that there are weaker areas to our music video and plan to amend these, but again, we find that it is incredibly useful to gain audience feedback. This is a summary of what people have said for Izzy and I to improve our music video even further.

  • I don't think anymore filming is needed but the editing still needs tightening up, for example cutting EXACTLY to the beat of the song. This will look very effective.
  • In terms of editing, you should try to edit so that each time Nathan (the performer) appears, he appears at the start of each line of a lyric.
  • Nathan needs to appear on 'Stop stop go' because this is when the lyrics begin, so it would work better if he appears here.
  • 0.58 shouldn't be sped up.
  • The 'round and round' lyrics- the clips here should be shorter and much faster editing to go with the pace of the lyrics.
  • During 3.46-3.56 the shots are too long. They should be shorter for a sleeker effect.
