Changing the song choice
In lesson today, we discovered that 'Fluorescent Adolescent' by the Arctic Monkeys already has a music video. Not only that, but it is very popular with over 67,000,000 views on YouTube. We didn't really want to run the risk of breaching copyright laws, nor did we want to compete with a video which is of professional music industry standard.
After futher consideration, we decided to choose 'Anything' by Catfish and the Bottleman. They are an indie band and are much smaller than the Arctic Monkeys, and this song doesn't have a music video. The style of the band still fits our criteria for a creating a narrative. We now need to re-think and develop our narrative idea in order for it to fit the song, but the mood board created previously still acts as inspiration so this does not need to be re-done.
