Editing- 4th October 2016
Today, Izzy and dedicated 3 hours towards editing our music video. We wanted to spend time to get a large bulk of the music video edited. We looked through the footage we have filmed and decided which bits we thought would fit each part of the song.
We decided that we wanted to stick to the stroy board planning, altering it slightly with aesthetic shots and close ups which would add to the overall 'arty' look of the music video. We still however, wanted to create a happy section to the video, a dramatic turn, and then a break up, almost acting as a beginning, middle and end.
Firstly, Izzy and I inserted the MP3 file of the song 'Fall At Your Feet' onto the audio line on Adobe Premiere pro. This allowed us to add the footage and cut it where we felt as though it fitted the song. This way, we could see how much time was left of the song, and also when the song changed to the verse and chorus, as we want these to be different. For the verses, we want to have the story line, but at the chorus we want to have 'busier' footage with elements of performance, which we are yet to film.
